Darren Turley, Director

Darren began his career in the building sector by qualifying as an electrician. Working for Mears Group, who held the contracts for Gloucestershire County Council lead him to be involved in planned and reactive maintenance works for schools, colleges, courts and police stations.

Darren joined Clarkson Evans to pursue his career as an electrician. His passion and experience lead him to work his way up through the company to be appointed Production Direction. His role was to manage the day-to-day running of the electrical teams that worked on new housing developments for all of the major house building companies.

Darren grew the production team to over 600 electricians before moving to the role of Operations Director. His focus shifted from growing the production team, to managing the infrastructure of the business where he had to expand their geographical reach which included managing the leases and purchasing of the estate, project managing and costing all building works. This opened up his remit to the construction industry, enjoying this side of the role he furthered his construction knowledge by working for Bloor Homes, before accepting a Managing Director position at RES Design & Build. Projects there included commercial to residential conversions for apartments and new build developments.
